This song tells a story of our
time living in the old one-room school house just West of Vermillon,
SD on Timber Road. Some nights we would take an amplifier and synthesizer
up to the roof and play music and sounds that could probably be heard
up and down the Missouri River Valley. Sometimes we'd hear the coyotes
howl back at usl! At that time most of us were macrobiotic vegetarians
and we did eat a lot of peanut butter and rice. Hence, the name of
the song. One night, after playing at Grease City, we had huge party
at the school house. After everyone had left, it started on fire
and essentially burnt to the ground. Listen to the story of that fire
in chapter 5 on
